On 5 Feb 2024, at about 08 40, a fire broke out by the renter Daw Yamin Thet's (20x20) 2 storey" Ngwe Thazin" clothing shop at above mention location. It is investigated that the fire started from washing machine overload at the kitchen. According to the report, a firefighting vehicle from Kyaukse District Fire Station cooperated with auxiliary fire members extinguished the fire. At about 08 45, the fire was completely extinguished. Due to the fire, a washing machine was lost. It is learned that  the Kyaukse Township Police Station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penal Code (Pa), 35/2024 against Daw Yamin Thet, the renter of the shop.
