On 19 March 2024, at about 14 30,  Kyaukmae District Fire Station received a report indicating that a fire had broken out at the U Myo Zaw Zaw Aung's (45x30) house located at Thirimingalar Street, No(2) Quarter, Kyaukmae Township, Shan State.  It was investigated that refrigerator safe guard overheated and caused the sparks and fire.  Upon the information, fire engines from fire stations in Kyaukmae District were sent to the fire and the fire was completely extinguished at 14 55. Due to the fire, 3 houses were lost. It is learned that the No (2)  local police station has opened a case under the section 285 of the Penal Code (pa) 3/2024 against the UMyo Zaw Zaw Aung, the owner of the house for his negligence.
