On 5 March 2024, at about 4 28, Mandalay region fire department received a report indicating that a fire had broken out at the Daw San Win's (30x20) house located between the 3x4 road,(76) Street, Oupotetaw Quarter, Aungmyaytharzan Township, Mandalay Region.  It was investigated that solar voltage stabilizer overheated and wires shocked caused a fire, which then spread to the nearby bamboo shelters. Upon the information, fire engines from fire stations inMandalay region were sent to the fire and the fire was completely extinguished at 04 55. Due to the fire, 2 houses, 4 shops and the belongings were lost. It is learned that the No (2)  local police station has opened a case under the section 285 of the Penal Code (pa) 22/2024 against the Daw San Win, the owner of the house for his negligence.
