On 3 March 2024, at about 08 24, fire broke out at the U Ye Min Thu's (20x40) 2 storey house located in No 29 ward, Dagon Myothit (North), Yangon region. It was investigated that while the Air con was turned on, the safe-guard was overheated and a spark fell on the nearby wardrobe causing fire. Upon the information, fire station from Dagon Myothit (North) and (South) were dispatched to the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 08 36. Due to the fire, the upper floor of the house and belongings were burned. The Dagon Myothit (North) police station has opened a case according to the section 285 of the penal code against the U Ye Min Thu, the owner of the house for his negligence.
