On 20 Feb 2024, at about 02 50, a fire broke out by the owner Daw Myo Aung's (15x30) house at (12) Ward, Mudoon Village, Chaungsone Township, Mawlamyaing District, Mon State. The fire started from solar battery overheated. According to the report,  the fire services personnel from Mawlamying Kyun District Fire Station  with 22 firefighting vehicles extinguished the fire. At about 03 37, the fire was completely extinguished.  It is learned that Chaung SoneTownship Police Station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penl Code (Pa) 15/2024 against Daw Myo Aung, the owner of the house.
