On 31.12.2023 at about 01 20, Shwetaung township fire station received the report that a fire broke out at the (40'x20') single floor staff housing located at the Yaysitkan road, Nwarmayan village, Shwetaung township, Pyi district, Bago region. It was investigated that the overheated electricity meter box caught fire and spread nearby. According to the report, the engines from local fire stations extinguished the fire with 4 fire engines and at about 01 40 , the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, the house roof was burned and the resident U Than Zin Oo was opened the file in accordance with 285, Pa (215/2023) of the Penal Code by Shwetaung Township Police Station.
