On 10.3.2023 at about 02 25, Maharaungmyay township fire station received the information that fire broke out at 16x10 ft tin roofed, ground floored residential house located at the above mentioned place. It was investigated that the house caught fire from an oil filled oven from a dry meat grill under a hanging area and spread to the roof above. Upon the information, total of 23 fire engines, and 30 fire fighters and 120 auxiliary fire fighters responded to the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 03 00.Due to the fire, the total of 8 houses and the upper floor of the 2 story residential house were destroyed. It is known that No 7 local police station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penal Code against the tenant of the house.
