On 4.3.2023 at about 05 30, Thargara highway fire station received the information that a passenger vehicle travelling from Naypyitaw to Yangon crashed into the guard rail of the road between the mile post no 167/4 and 167/5 of the Yangon_Mandalay highway road. Upon the information, Thargara highway fire station conducted the rescue operation and the operation was completed at 09 00. Due to the accident, 3 men were killed and 15 men and 10 women got injured and the injured victims were sent to the hospital. Thargara highway police station has opened a case under Section 337/338/304-A of the Penal Code against the driver for his negligence.
