29.9.2022- at about 10 15 am, a fire broke out at (18x27) 2 storeys house at No (4) Quarter, Hsaitaung Village, Phakant Township, Moenying District, Kachin State. This house was owned by U Yein Thein who lent it to Daw Aung Buu Lu. The fire broke out while cooking in the kitchen of restaurant. The fire was extinguished by a firefighting vehicle with 6 fire Services personnel from Phakant Township Fire Station and 8 Firefighting Vehicles, a water bowser, a supporting vehicle and 5 water bowsers owned by Company with 61 Auxiliary fire members from Saitmu, Sankywal, Pharpyin, Mamone, Myoma and Mashikahtaug Auxiliary Fire Stations using 25,000 gallons of water. At about 11 00 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, (18x27) 2 storeys house and 3 houses(27x27) were burned. The  house borrower, Daw Aung Buu Lu was opened against fire in accordance with 285, (Pa) 57/2022, of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Phakant Myoma Police Station.
