21.5.2022 at about 14 30 pm, houses fire broke out at Katthar Village, Homalin Township, Sagaing Region. The fire broke out due to solar plate overload by the owner U Myaung Kyan's (72x54) house. The fire was extinguished by 1 water bowser form Katthar Township Fire Station, 1 firefighting vehicle and 1 water bowser from Homalin Township Fire Station with 14 fire services personnel and 10 auxiliary fire members using 4,400 gallons of water. At about 14 55pm, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire (72x54) houses were burned. U Chit Ko was who is brother-in- law of U Maung Kyan was opened against file in accordance with 285 (Pa) 25/2022 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Homalin Township Police Station.
