On 4.10.2023 at about 18:00, (48'x30') monastery fire broke out in No(4) Ward, Lashio Town, Shan State. The fire started from Mobile phone charging overload and spread to the bed sheet. According to the report, firefighters and auxiliary firefighters of Lashio District/Township fire stations, No (3) and (4) Ward auxiliary fire stations with 6 fire engines extinguished the fire and at about 18:35 PM, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, the furniture of (48'x30') monastery was burned and the monk U Ganbiya was opened the file in accordance with 285,Pa (235/2023)of the code of Criminal Procedure by Lashio Township Police Station.
