On 23.2.2023 at about 06 55, Magway township fire station received the information that the fire broke out at the 2 story house owned by Daw Khin Thike who has Alzheimer’s decease in Magway townshop, Magway region.It was investigated that the fire started from the candle of the upper floor and spread to the clothes and accessories nearby.Upon the information, total of 5 fire engines and 26 fire fighters with 10 auxiliary fire fighters and local organizations were deployed to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished at 07 20. Due to the fire, the owner was killed because of smoke inhalation and Magway township police station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penal Code against Daw Khin Thike, the owner of the house.
