On 19.2.2023 at about 12 30, thingannyinaung local fire station received the information that the fire broke out at the garage owned U Sai Than Htay in No 1022 road, Pharchaung village tract, Myawaddy township, Kayin state.It was investigated that the electric fan motor overheated and caught fire, igniting the clothes on fire. Upon the information, total of 7 fire engines and 24 fire fighters with 15 auxiliary fire fighters and local organizations were deployed to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished at 13 30. As a result of the fire, 15 tons of millet in the mill and the front part of the vehicle were burned. It is known that Thingannyinaung local police station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penal Code against U Sai Than Htay, the owner of the garage.
