On February 18, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM, a fire broke out at a (30x30) ft, two-story  house that owned by Daw Mone Mone Kyaw, located on Tar Pun Road, Min Kwet (1) Ward, Paungde Township, Pyay District, Bago Region. The fire started due to fire residue from the kitchen and  spread to the  nearby wooden structures, causing the fire to escalate. According to the report, firefighters from Paungde Township Fire Station, Nattalin Township Fire Station, Min Kwet (1) Auxiliary Fire Station, and Pyinkan Auxiliary Fire Station, along with volunteer firefighters extinguished  the fire with four fire engines and four water bowsers. The fire was successfully extinguished at 1:20 PM. Due to the fire, (30x30) ft, two-story wooden house and (15x15) ft two-story wooden house were destroyed. Daw Mone Mone Kyaw was charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code at Paungde Township Police Station (Case No. (P) 29/2025).
