On February 17, 2025, at approximately 1:47 PM, a fire broke out at a two-story (20x15 feet) warehouse that  owned by Daw Thandar Sein Win, in Ward No. 6, Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region. The fire was caused by excessive heat buildup due to stored blankets and mattresses, which then spread to nearby bamboo walls. According to the report, firefighters from the Taungtha Township Fire Station responded with two fire trucks and one water bowser. The fire was successfully extinguished by 2:03 PM. Due to the fire  (20x15 feet) a two-story warehouse, (10x15 feet) a ground-level house were destroyed. The owner Daw Thandar Sein Win was charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code at the Taungtha Township Police Station.
