On February 7, 2025, at approximately 11:00 AM, school based fire safety education and demonstration were conducted at  Taw Kamet Basic Education High School in Dedaye Township, Ayeyarwady Region. During this demonstration, participants were educated on  causes of fire outbreaks, proper handling and usage of fire extinguishers to effectively extinguish fires, oxygen-cutting methods for extinguishing oil fires, fire prevention measures including the proper installation and readiness of fire extinguishers, fire hooks, fire beaters, sand buckets, and water buckets. The demonstration and practical training were carried out by firefighters of the Dedaye Township Fire Station and auxiliary firefighters, in collaboration with school teachers and students.
