On February 5, 2025, at approximately 3:00 PM, a fire prevention and emergency fire response drill was conducted at the municipal markets in Dedaye Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyarwady Region. During the exercise, various fire extinguishing methods were demonstrated such as smothering method to put out oil fires and the proper use of fire extinguishers.  Additionally, inspections were carried out to check the durability and safety of electrical outlets and wiring within the market area. The drill was organized by firefighters from the Dedaye Township Fire Station in collaboration with relevant organizations and marketeer.
