On 30.5.2023, at about 15 55 Pm, Chauk Township Fire Station received a call that a Bayan tree which has 6 ft in girth and 60 ft in height fell down on the (24’ x 14’) house at No(14), Zawtika Quarter, Chauk Township, Magway Region. 11 fire services personnel and 6 auxiliary members from Chauk Township fire station with 1 firefighting vehicle and 1 administrative and an ambulance from Auxiliary Fire Bridge removed and cleaned the debris and the fallen tree. Due to the accident, 5 persons were injured and a woman was dead and (24’ x 14’) house was damaged. A dead body and the injured persons were transferred to the Chauk Civil Hospital by the ambulances of Auxiliary Fire Bridge and Manawphyu Volunteer Organization.
