On 16.3.2023 at about 04 40, Pakokku township fire station received the information that fire broke out at 1 story brick noggin building owned by U Poe Yaw located at the above mentioned place. It was investigated that the mosquito coil placed near the bed fell down onto the bed and spread the nearby. Upon the information, total of 6 fire engines, and 32 fire fighters and 15 auxiliary fire fighters responded to the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 05 30.Due to the fire, the entire house was destroyed. It is known that Pakokku township police station has opened a case under Section 285 of the Penal Code against the owner of the house.
