On 3 February 2023 at about 12 20 PM, a house (24x24 feet) owned by Daw Than Than broke out the fire due to the electric kettle overload at Kyantaw Village, Katha Township, Sagaing Region. According to the report, 23 fire services personnel from Katha Township/District Fire Stations with 2 fire engines, 2 water bowsers and 1 Administrative vehicle extinguished the fire using 2,800 gallons of water and at about 12 38 PM, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, 2 houses were burned and the owner Daw Than Than was opened the file (Pa) 8/2023 in accordance with 285 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Katha Myoma Police Station.
