On 15th Jan 2023, at about 15 05, FSD was alerted to a fire broke out at (30x25) 2 storey RC building owned by U Nwe Nwe Oo at above-mentioned location. The fire broke out when a cotton touched the hard material inside the cotton treading machine and spread to the nearby places. According to the report, at about 15 07, the fire was extinguished by a total of 32 firefighters with 1 administrative vehicle, 16 fire engines and 2 water bowsers from Pyi Township Fire Station using 25000 gallons of water. At about 15 35, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, 1 building was destroyed and the manager Daw Hter Thiri was opened the file in accordance with 285, Pa (14/2023) of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Pyi Police Station.
