On 11th Jan 2023, at about 12 35, a house fire broke out at (20x20) single storey building owned by U Than Ohn at above-mentioned location. The fire started from cooking place. According to the report, at about 12 40, the fire was extinguished by a total of 22 firefighters with 2 fire engines and 1 water bowsers from Moenyo Township Fire Station and Monyo Auxiliary fire station using 8000 gallons of water. At about 13 15, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, 15 houses were destroyed and the owner U Than Ohn was opened the file in accordance with 285, Pa (7/2023) of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Moenyo Police Station.
