On 10th Jan 2023, at about 01 20am, a house fire broke out at (20x14) 2 storey building owned by U Dan Man at above-mentioned location. The fire started from the over heated socket of refrigerator. According to the report, at about 01 39 am, the fire was extinguished by a total of 23 firefighters with 1 administrative vehicle, 2 fire engines and 1 water bowsers from Hakha Township Fire Station using 6400 gallons of water. At about 02 19 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, 3 buildings were destroyed and the owner U Dar Man was opened the file in accordance with 285, Pa(2/2023) of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Haka Police Station.
