On 10.11.2022 at about 11:15 am, a fire broke out at the Shwe Phort asbestos roll industry( 20'x80' steel structure building) at U Tun Nyo Road, Industrial Zone (2), Hlaingtharyar(east) Township, Yangon Region. The fire broke out due to the forklift's battery overload and sparks spread to the asbestos rolls. According to the report at about 11 18 am, a total of  49 fire engines from the Yangon Region Fire Services Department with 290 fire services personnel and 78 auxiliary fire members using 9,000 gallons of water extinguished the fire and at about 11 54 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire (20'x80') steel structure building, 100 asbestos rolls and 1 forklift were burned and U Myat Min Htet was opened the file in accordance with 285. Pa(971/2022) of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Hlaingtharyar(east) Myoma Police Station.
