On 10.11.2022 at about 03 50, a fire broke out at the (15x35) two storeys building owned by U Lin Tun due to the candle fire at Bonekyaung Road, Zinkyaik Town, Pound Township, Thaton District, Mon State. According to the report at about 04 18 am, the fire was extinguished by 1 administrative vehicle from Mon State Fire Services Department, 3 firefighting vehicles and  3 water bowsers from Thaton District Fire Station, 3 Firefighting Vehicles and 3 water bowsers from Poung Township Fire Station, 3 Firefighting vehicles and 2 water bowsers from voluntary organization with 20 fire services personnel and 50 auxiliary fire members using 32,800 gallons of water. At about 05 05 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, a total of 8 houses were burned and a man and 3 women were killed. U Tun Lin was opened file in accordance with 285, (Pa) 192/2022 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Zinkyait Myoma Police Station.
