On 30.10.2022 at about 11 15 am, the fire  broke out due to the electric kettle overload and spread to the bamboo shelter at U Than Aung's house (15'x10') at Aungmingalar Ward, Sittwe Township, Rakhing State. According to the report at about 11 18 am, the fire was extinguished by 1 administrative vehicle, 3 fire engines and 2 water bowsers of Sittwe township fire station with 32 firemen and 10 auxiliary fire members using 5,600 gallons of water. At about 11 40 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire, a total of 4 houses  were burned and U Than Aung was opened file in accordance with 285, Pa (283/2022) of  the Code of Criminal Procedure by No (10 Myoma police station.
