On 29.10.2022 at about 05 55 am, the white CANTER vehicle driven by Myo Ko Htay hit to the back side of the FUSO 12-wheels vehicle that stopped near the milepost (378/7), Yenangyaung- Kyaukpadaung highway Road, near the Awwzartaw village, Chauk Township, Magway Region.According to the report, at about 05:58 am-11 fire services personnel and 6 auxiliary fire members of Chauk Township Fire Station and Chauk Auxiliary Fire Brigade with 1 Administrative vehicle and 1 Ambulance responded to the accident. At about 08:00 am, rescue work accomplished.Due to the accident, a total of 7 people (3 men and 4 women) were killed and a total of 12 people (7 men and 4 women) were injured and sent to the Chauk Hospital by 3 ambulance of  Chauk Auxiliary fire brigade, Manawphyu voluntary organization and Thugatishin Voluntary Organization. The driver Myo Ko Htay was opened the file (Pa) 12/2022 from Gwaycho Local Police Station in accordance with the Sections 304-A, 337 and 338 of the code of Criminal Procedure.
