On 1 July 2026, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a tree fell across Yazadhiriz Road, Ward No. 8, Dagon Myothit (East) Township, Yangon Region, due to heavy rainfall, obstructing the roadway. Upon receiving the report, firefighters and auxiliary firefighters from the Dagon Myothit (East) Township Fire Station responded with one fire engine. In coordination with township municipal personnel, they carried out clearance operations. The operation was successfully completed at approximately 8:26 a.m. There were no injuries or fatalities, and no property damage was reported as a result of the incident.
