On 3 May 2026, at approximately 12:40 p.m., in Pyawbwe Township, Yamethin District, Mandalay Region, a tamarind tree about 2 feet in diameter and 30 feet in height fell near the Myoma Dhamma Hall in Myoma Ward due to rainfall. According to the report, firefighters from the Pyawbwe Township Fire Station responded with one fire engine and carried out clearance operations. The operation was completed at around 1:15 p.m. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
