On 3 March 2026, at Bayint Naung Market in Tachileik, Shan State, fire prevention and safety activities were carried out to ensure fire safety within the market.Firefighters from Tachileik Township Fire Station, together with officials from the General Administration Department, members of the Township Municipal Committee, and market authorities, conducted inspections of the fire safety equipment installed inside the market.The firefighters also provided explanations to market officials and shopkeepers on the proper handling and use of firefighting equipment. In addition, practical demonstrations were conducted on extinguishing gas cylinder fires, putting out oil fires using fire extinguishers, and spraying water using fire engines and firefighting pumps.
