On 3 March 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Hlegu Myoma Market, Hlegu Township, Yangon Region, a fire safety and prevention inspection was conducted under the leadership of the Head of District Fire Station, personnel  firefighters from Hlegu Township Fire Station, in cooperation with relevant organizations, carried out inspections within and around the market.The inspection included checking the condition and installation of fire safety equipment inside and outside the market, examining whether electrical wiring and switches in the market shops were in good condition, assessing fire safety compliance in the use of electricity, inspecting whether installed emergency fire extinguishers were in good working order, verifying whether fire water tanks within the market were adequately filled, and checking the operational condition and water discharge capacity of fire hydrants.
