On February 14, 2025, at approximately 2:30 PM, a fire safety and fire prevention demonstration  were conducted at City Market No. (1) and No. (2) in Pyawbwe City, Mandalay Region, to ensure fire hazards do not occur. During the drill, demonstrations were carried out on various fire extinguishing techniques, including using fire trucks to put out fires, using fire extinguishers, and cutting off oxygen to extinguish oil fires. Additionally, informational pamphlets were distributed, and a rescue simulation was performed using hydraulic tools to free trapped individuals. Inspections were also conducted on electrical sockets and wiring within the market to check for stability and safety. The exercise was carried out by the firefighters from Pyawbwe Township Fire Station cooperation with other relevant organizations. They utilized one command vehicle, three fire trucks, and two water bowsers. Market vendors and shop owners actively participated in the practical drill.
