On February 11, 2025, at approximately 10:15 AM, a fire broke out in Taung Ni Village, Mine Thaw East Village Tract, Taunggyi Township, Shan State. The fire started near the fuel storage area of the "Bo Aung Din" fuel station that owned by Daw Ei Nwe Nwe San, when friction occurred while using an engine to transfer fuel from an iron tank onto a 12-wheel truck. According to the report, firefighters from Office of the Head of  Shan State Fire Services Department, Taunggyi District and Township Fire Stations, along with auxiliary fire stations from Nyaung Shwe, Shwe Nyaung, Aye Tharyar, Pin Pyit, and Taung Ni, extinguished the fire by using 9 fire trucks, 5 water bowsers and a support vehicle.At about 11:40 AM, the fire was completely extinguished. Due to the fire a (40x40) ft warehouse, a blue FUSO 12-wheel truck, approximately 18 barrels (50 gallons each) of octane fuel were destroyed. Daw Ei Nwe Nwe San was charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code by the Shwe Nyaung Township Police Station (Case No. (Pa) 17/2025).
