On February 10, 2025, at approximately 1:25 PM, a fire broke out at a (10x10) ft, one-story kitchen that owned by U Tun Myint in Letthit Village, Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region. The fire started from fire residue of the stove and spread to nearby wooden walls. According to the report, firefighters from Mandalay District Fire Station, Patheingyi Township Fire Station and auxiliary fire stations from Kankauk, Minekun, and Ohnchaw were extinguished the fire by using four fire trucks and two water bowsers. At about by 1:52 PM , the fire was completely extinguished. Due to the fire,  (10x10) ft 2  kitchens, a (15x15) ft, two-story residential house, a (20x15) ft barn were destroyed. U Tun Myint was charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code by the Ohnchaw Township Police Station (Case No. (Pa) 17/2025).
