On February 10, 2025, at approximately 10:00 AM, school based fire safety education and fire drill operations were conducted at Thapyu High School (Branch) in Danubyu Township, Maubin District, Ayeyarwady Region. During this awareness  programe, members were educated on the causes of fire outbreaks, proper handling of firefighting equipment, and emergency fire suppression techniques. This fire drill  included the correct use of fire extinguishers, methods for extinguishing oil fires, and preventive measures such as ensuring the proper installation of fire extinguishers, fire hooks, fire beaters, sand buckets, and water buckets. The event was organized by the members of the Danubyu Township Fire Station, who conducted practical fire drills in collaboration with teachers and students to enhance preparedness for fire emergencies.
