On February 9, 2025, at approximately 9:00 AM, fire safety inspection operation was carried out at households and fuel stations in Sanpya Ward, Kyaukpadaung Township, Nyaung-U District. During the inspection, officials provided guidance on fire hazards and fire prevention measures, including the proper use of fire extinguishers in case of emergencies, installation of fire extinguishers, and the readiness of fire hooks, fire beaters, sand buckets, and water buckets. These activities were conducted by the firefighters of the Nyaung-U District Fire Station and Kyaukpadaung Township Fire Station cooperative with auxiliary fire members and other volunteer organizations.
