On January 14, 2025, at approximately 12:35 a m, a fire broke out at the residence  by the owner Daw Thein Thein Mar, located on Kalyani (5) Street, Kalyani Ward, Bago Township, Bago Region. The fire was caused by an overheated motor in a refrigerator, which sparked a flame through electrical wiring, igniting a partition wall. According to the report, firefighters from the Bago Region Fire Services Department and auxiliary firefighters responded with two fire engines and two water bowsers. The fire was successfully extinguished by 12:55 a.m. Due to the fire one (15x20) ft two-story residence with a zinc roof, wooden partitions, and bamboo flooring.  one (20x20) ft two-story residence with a zinc roof, bamboo partitions, and bamboo flooring and one refrigerator. Daw Thein Thein Mar has been charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code with Case No. (Pa) 17/2025 by the No. (2) Bago Township Police Station.
