On October 8, 2024, at approximately 1 00 AM, a Batten tree measuring about 80 feet in height and 12 feet in circumference fell due to the heavy rain at the No(1) quarter, Minbu township, Minbu district, Magway region. Upon receiving the report, fire fighters from Minbu township fire station were dispatched to the scene for clearance operations. The operation was completed at 2 10 PM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from this incident.
