On September 13, 2024, at approximately 2:05 PM, it was reported that a 40-foot-tall Albizia tree with a circumference of approximately 2.5 feet had fallen onto Wi-Fi fiber cables along at Sipin Road, No (2) Ward Yankin Township, Yangon Region. SAR members and auxiliary fire service members from the Yankin Township Fire Station responded to the incident with one fire truck. The clearance operations were completed by 3:35 PM. There were no injuries or casualties reported, and no property damage occurred as a result of the incident.
