On August 30, 2024, at approximately 11:30 AM, a fire broke out at a (15x15) ft, two-story house that owned by U Aung Kyaw Oo, in Htan Naung Pin Hla Village, Kyaukse Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region. The fire started due to overheating of a Safeguard device while a generator was running. According to the report, firefighters from Kyaukse District and Township Fire Stations cooperative with auxiliary firefighters, responded with two fire engines and one water bowser. The fire was fully extinguished by 11:45 AM. Due to the fire,  (15x15) ft, a two-story house,  (15x15) ft, 2 two-story houses and  (15x15) ft a two-story house were destroyed. U Aung Kyaw Oo, the house owner, has been charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code with case number (Pa) 314/2024 at Kyaukse City Police Station.
