On 14 November 2025, at around 8:10 AM, a fire broke out at “Global Grace KTV,” a (120×40) ft, single-storey steel structure owned by U Myo Aung, located at the corner of Setshin Road and Mingalar Road, Ward (20), Taungoo Township, Bago Region.The fire started when an overheated electrical power socket ignited and spread to a nearby sofa. According to the report firefighters and auxiliary firefighters from the Taungoo district/township fire stations, together with volunteers from Taungoo Rescue, Ketu Volunteer Organization, and Maha Metta Volunteer Organization responded with 4 fire engines and 3 water bowsers. The fire was brought under control at 8:42 AM. Due to the fire a (15×15) ft room of the (120×40) ft, one-storey steel structure building was destroyed. The owner, U Myo Aung (58), has been charged by Taungoo Township Police Station No. 1 under Case No. (Pa) 253/2025, in accordance with Section 285 of the Penal Code.
