On June 14, 2025, at approximately 7:30 AM, due to the heavy rain, a tree fell down on the road and the road was blocked at Myitkyina–Mohnyin road in Kyundaung Ward, Mohnyin Township, Mohnyin District, Kachin State. According to the report, firefighters from the Mohnyin Township Fire Station removed and cleaned the debris and fallen tree by using a fire truck. The operation was completed at around 9:30 AM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from the incident.
